Supervive’s Top 5 Tips to Start Climbing!
1. Start Early and Glide Strategically
Starting with a simple one: you should eject from the plane a few seconds earlier and glide to your desired direction. This way, you can ensure that your team will be the first one on the landing zone.
2. Always Take the Vault Quest First
The vault quest will reward you with an XP boost book that will allow you to reach level 5 on day one.
- Key Details:
- The quest rewards every member of your team with one book.
- To reach level 5, you will need to use 2 books.
- In Duos, one player must pass their book to the other so at least one of you can reach level 5 on day one.
- Similarly, in Squads, 2 players should pass their books so the other 2 can reach level 5.
This is crucial because there’s no need for everyone to be level 4.5 when a teammate can reach level 5 and win the first fight with their ultimate ability.
Additionally, opening a vault early and taking its loot is one of the best strategies to gain an advantage over your enemies.
3. Mastering the Abyss Mechanics
This tip is about the abyss—specifically, the red bubble that appears above a player when they are traveling across the abyss below the surface.
- Key Mechanics:
- The red bubble represents the target’s location, and shooting it will damage or eliminate them.
- When a target is gliding, a red aura surrounds the bubble, and one hit will instantly eliminate them.
- When the target is not gliding (just falling or hanging off a cliff), hitting the bubble only damages them.
The only way to instantly kill a target that isn’t gliding is by using a slamming ability.
4. Shop and Spend Smartly
If you want to request gold from a teammate to buy something from the shop, just press the middle mouse button on the desired item. Your teammates can then click on the gold request icon near the party list and transfer the amount of gold you need.
- Always buy at least a green shield as soon as possible.
- Every shop has one luxury item that only one player can purchase.
- It’s a good idea to pool your team’s gold early to pick up a golden shield, denying it to enemy players.
5. Leverage Base Camps
Base camps are highly useful for several reasons:
- They give you vision in the surrounding area and allow you to recall to regroup with your team.
- Upgrading your pots at a base camp will double the amount they heal—a huge advantage.
- If you’ve acquired high-level armor, you can recall to a base and repair it.
- Fighting near your base provides a massive advantage due to the health regeneration it offers, along with the vision benefits.
Bonus Tip: Optimize Your Hunter’s Build
Search the internet for your hunter’s best items and buy those instead of relying on the recommended ones.
- Many players in the arena use high-tier hunters but equip the wrong items.
- In the arena, you can drop your current items and buy new ones at any time. This allows you to maximize your hunter’s capabilities.
Additionally, pressing Caps Lock (default key) will open a scoreboard where you can view other players’ builds. If you like what you see, you can copy their builds for inspiration.
