Dagger of frenzy is very good item we take it for its active.
Serrated Edge will stack very easy with Thor and gives great stats
Void shield Will help yourself and the team with its 15% reduce protections aura.

The Reaper will boost your damage and lifesteal if you are scoring kills.
Brawler’s Ruin has very solid stats plus its anti-heal passive will be useful in most of the games.
A Powerful Thor Build for Smite 2: Jungle and Arena
With the latest update in Smite 2, Thor has received access to his Aspect, which provides a slow and trembling effect when landing three consecutive attacks on an enemy. This build focuses on maintaining Thor’s Aspect to maximize its benefits.
Starter Item
For the jungle role, Bumba’s Hammer is the ideal choice. This item enhances DPS throughout the game by granting an empowered basic attack after every ability cast. Additionally, it offers extra health in the late game. However, for Arena, Death’s Toll is a better alternative since it provides sustain without the jungle-specific benefits of Bumba’s Hammer.
Core Items
Tekko-Kagi
- This item is preferred over Jotunn’s Revenge due to its 6% movement speed bonus. Given that movement speed is a rare stat in Smite 2, combining it with Thor’s Aspect slow effect significantly improves ganks and overall mobility.
Dagger of Frenzy
- This offensive item grants bonus damage and 30% attack speed on the next five basic attacks after activation. The key advantage is that the effect remains active until used, allowing players to activate it in advance and unleash its full potential upon engaging an enemy. With a 15-second cooldown that resets after a kill, this item provides consistent bursts of damage.
Serrated Edge
- This item grants 70 Strength and 25% lifesteal after using three basic abilities. Since Thor’s standard combo involves a stun, a first ability strike, and a travel move, Serrated Edge is fully activated in most engagements. Additionally, combining this with Dagger of Frenzy allows for up to 10 empowered basic attacks per engagement, making it a key component of this build.
Secondary Items
Void Shield
- With penetration values recently nerfed, Void Shield compensates by reducing enemy physical protection by 15%, benefiting not just Thor but his entire team. It also adds durability, making it a solid mid-game defensive item.
Oath-sworn Spear
- This item further reduces enemy protections, amplifying Thor’s damage output while also benefiting teammates. After landing an ability, it enhances overall burst damage potential.
Situational Final Item
- The Reaper: Ideal for increasing DPS and lifesteal when securing kills.
- Brawler’s Ruin: A must-pick against heavy healing compositions, especially when facing gods like Anubis.
- Avatar’s Parachu: A great alternative for maximizing Strength if more damage is needed.
- Tank Items: If extra survivability is required, selecting an appropriate tank item based on the situation is always a viable option.
Conclusion
This Thor build is an excellent choice for Jungle and Arena in Smite 2, leveraging his Aspect for devastating slows and burst damage. By carefully managing Dagger of Frenzy stacks and maximizing cooldown efficiency, this setup ensures optimal performance in every engagement. Adapt the final item based on the match situation, and Thor will remain a dominant force on the battlefield.
