The Best Fenrir Jungle and Arena Build in Smite 2
Let’s take a look at one of the best builds for Fenrir Jungle and Arena in Smite 2. High-ranking players prefer this build because it allows them to dominate the early stages of the game by being able to tank a few more hits while dealing enough damage to duel anyone.
Starter Item: Bumba’s Hammer
For our starter item, we’ll go with Bumba’s Hammer. This item will give us a bit more damage with each basic attack after we cast an ability, which is great for early-game clear and sustain.
Core Items
Golden Blade
The first core item we’ll pick is Golden Blade, a bruiser option that makes Fenrir both tanky and able to scale his basic attack damage based on his resistances. It’s perfect for the early and mid-game.Mystical Mail
Mystical Mail is the preferred choice for the second item due to its massive HP and its AoE burn damage passive, which makes Fenrir a threat in close combat. It’s great for soaking up damage and dealing with groups of enemies.Ruinous Ankh
If the enemy team has gods that focus on lifesteal or healing, like Anubis, Ra, or Pele, we’ll always go for Ruinous Ankh instead. This item makes Fenrir tankier while providing a great anti-heal effect, perfect for shutting down sustain-heavy gods.Berserker’s Shield
For a more aggressive approach, Berserker’s Shield offers defensive stats while also boosting damage. This makes it a versatile item that fits both tanky and offensive playstyles.
Additional Items
Qin’s Blade
For the third item, we always go for Qin’s Blade. This item significantly boosts our basic attack damage based on the enemy’s HP, making it an excellent item to scale Fenrir’s damage as the game progresses.Bloodforge
For the fourth item, Bloodforge is a great choice. It provides lifesteal through its active ability, allowing Fenrir to sustain through fights. However, it can be swapped for a more tanky option if needed.Serrated Edge
Serrated Edge is another excellent item in the meta that gives a solid amount of damage and lifesteal when your basic abilities are on cooldown. Combining Serrated Edge with Bloodforge’s lifesteal will help Fenrir heal quickly while dealing damage, making him more survivable in prolonged fights.
Optional Items
If you don’t want to follow a lifesteal path, you can choose one of the following items for your fourth or last slot, depending on what you think will prove more useful:
Stampede
Stampede offers a movement speed active ability that allows you to close gaps quickly or escape dangerous situations.Talisman of Purification
Talisman of Purification is great for providing your team with a cleansing ability to counter hard crowd control effects.Berserker’s Shield & Shifter’s Shield
Both of these items will boost your damage while giving you some defensive stats. These are solid options to round out your build.Hide of the Nemean Lion
Hide of the Nemean Lion, or combined with Leviathan’s Hide, is excellent for killing physical damage carries while also tanking their shots with its reflect active.Screeching Gargoyle
Screeching Gargoyle provides magical protection and cooldown reduction, while also silencing targets in front of you.Shogun’s Ofuda
Shogun’s Ofuda offers magical protection and boosts attack speed for you and your team, which can be useful in certain team compositions.
