Welcome to NobsGameGuides,
Let’s have a look at the best ways to level your alts from 80 to 90.
Priority Number 1: Leveling Roulette
The number one priority is to join the Leveling Roulette. The best way to shorten queue times is to join immediately after the daily reset, as this is when the most people are online.
Priority Number 2: Daily Reputation Quests
While you’re waiting for your queue to pop up, you can start with Priority number 2: the Daily Reputation quests. There are two reputations you’ll want to focus on: the Pixies from Shadowbringers and the Arkasodara from Endwalker. Links in the description will guide you on where to find them and how to start.
Priority Number 3: Frontline Roulette
If you are fortunate enough to finish the Leveling Roulette before completing your daily reputations, join the Frontline Roulette immediately.
Now, let’s dwell on this topic for a moment, primarily because I’ve heard from many FC members and friends that they’re hesitant to join PvP. There is absolutely nothing to fear about joining a queue with another 23 allies. More than 80% of them join this queue just for the Roulette rewards anyway. There is a reason why you don’t have to win to earn the daily rewards.
You will be doing a favor to everyone by joining the Frontline since it requires 72 people to start a game. So, get your one spell into your hotbar, follow the crowd, and you will be just fine.
Priority Number 4: Dungeon Spam
Let’s move on to Priority number 3: Find the dungeon closest to your level and spam it. The only enemy here is queue times. Again, joining immediately after the daily reset will significantly shorten queue times.
There is an option to use AI for teammates, which I recommend if you plan on leveling multiple jobs. Essentially, you have to level them up from level 71 up to 90 by doing dungeons with them. It’s called the Trust system, and you can find it under The Duty Menu. Some of the dungeons allow you to sync them to the required level, so for example, even if you haven’t ever touched them before, you can spam the level 89 dungeon.
Priority Number 5: The Bozjan Southern Front
Lastly, for those who are totally new, there is a somewhat hidden place called The Bozjan Southern Front. The Bozjan Southern Front is a level 71 field operation introduced with Shadowbringers. What can you do there that is worth your while? You can find a group by shouting something like “Invite for Fates pls” and start doing Fates with them.
Normal Fates, or what are also called Skirmishes, reward you with a small amount of XP, while Big Fates (Critical Engagements) reward you with a large amount of XP. The good thing about it is that you can grind there as much as you want. You should know that many people are there to farm Bozjan Clusters, which do not reward you with XP. XP only comes from completing Fates.
