Intro
This camera settings guide is based on my personal insights
into how you can make aiming easier in Supervive.
Many of us come from games like League of Legends or Dota
2, where the camera isn’t locked onto your character. There, you only have
to focus on tracking your opponent’s movements to land your skill shots. In Supervive,
however, the camera is locked to your character, which can make it harder to
keep Tracking your target.
To overcome this, we can reduce how tightly the camera
follows your character.
For Example
When the camera is fully locked, trying to track an enemy while you’re
repositioning, forces your eyes to move from the one side of the screen to the
other. This becomes even more challenging if the target makes sudden movements,
as your eyes need to cover even greater distances.
With the alternate camera setting I suggest, your target
stays closer to the center of the screen while you are trying to follow it.
This minimizes how much your eyes need to move, making it far easier to follow
your opponent’s movements—even during quick maneuvers.
At first, this setting will feel awkward because you’re used
to narvigate based on your character position. However, your eyes will quickly
adapt, and start to naturally tracking the cursor instead. This will greatly
reduce eyes strain and also improve your ability to follow targets.
An added benefit of this setting is that it allows you to
track opponents who are farther away, giving you a better overview of the
battlefield.
To set up these options you will first need to to set dash
input mode and ex dash input mode to wsda Enchanced by cursor under the game
chategory
And then Select the Fully dynamic preset and set the
deadzone to the minimum amount of 0.001.
You won’t be able to fully grasp the benefits of this option
on a stationary target like the practice dummy, but you’ll better understand
its potential if you join practice with a friend or test it at the creep camps
on the left side of the practice map.
You can reset these creep camps by passing through the spawn bot circle at the
middle.
And that would be my conclusion on the best camera settings
for Supervive!
