Did you know that you can make your portrait look like it is animated?
As the title of this video suggests, I will quickly show you how to add this effect to your Duty portrait. Of course, portraits are meant to be static, so we’re going to use a little trick to create this animation illusion.
The Trick to Animated Portraits
The trick—and the only requirement—to create this animation effect relies on the animated weapons.
Many weapons for each job have different cool auras, so our first step is to find which weapon aura you like the most.
Finding and Equipping Animated Weapons
You can acquire these weapons:
- From quests.
- From the market board.
- From PvP merchants.
- And many other places.
Once you have selected and equipped the weapon glamour of your choice, open your portrait menu.
Setting Up the Animated Portrait
- Select the stance that will draw your weapon and, optimally, keep it close to your face.
- Then, zoom in to hide the weapon itself.
- Try to catch a nice pose.
