In this video, I want to share three tips that helped me significantly improve my aim in Supervive as a beginner.
The first and most common mistake I see is relying too much on the laser sight. Instead of aiming directly above the enemy, players often focus on aligning the laser sight with their target. While this might feel Natural, it’s actually more challenging. You can try it yourself and notice how tricky it is to align your aim when your cursor isn’t directly on your target.
On the other hand, snapping your aim directly above the enemy is much easier if you’re confident with your mouse control. This is something we often do unconsciously, but to break the habit, my recommendation is to temporarily disable the laser sight for a few games.
I’m not suggesting you get rid of it permanently, but playing without the laser sight—and perhaps increasing your aim reticle size in the UI settings—will encourage you to focus on aiming directly at your target. This small adjustment can make a big difference in improving your precision.
The next thing I was late to found out was that you can actually practice your aim on the practice map against a moving Ai target!
Having access to a randomly moving target for consistent practice is far more effective than joining a regular match and waiting for encounters. The moving ai location is on the right side of the practice map and all you have to do to spawn it is to pass through this green circle.
Finally, the last thing I want to talk about is how to adjust your mouse speed in Supervive. Unfortunately, the game currently doesn’t have a mouse sensitivity option, so your in-game mouse sensitivity is directly tied to your Windows settings.
If you’re unsure how to adjust your Windows mouse speed and don’t have specific software for your mouse, simply type “mouse settings” into your search bar. From there, you can increase or decrease the pointer speed to find a setting that works for you.
Once you’ve adjusted it, hop into the practice map, turn off the laser sight for a while, and experiment with your camera options. With just a bit of practice—less than an hour, even—you’ll notice your aim improving significantly!
If you haven’t tuned your camera settings yet, I’ve got a video on my channel where I share my recommendations for an optimal setup. You can find the link to it in the description!
That’s all for today’s video. I know it wasn’t packed with advanced tips, but sometimes the simplest changes can make the biggest difference. I hope you found it helpful!
