Jin Supervive Guide
Intro
Jin is one of the best assassins in Supervive with a very fun and unique playstyle!
At first, you might think that he is extremely complicated, but in reality, he can be played in a very simple and straightforward way!
In this video, we will discuss everything about his Kit, his build options, combos, and the most suitable powers to his playstyle.
Skills Kit
In general, Jin Supervive Guide his playstyle is focused on his ability to dash into his enemies and eliminate them with a single combo.
Jin’s Passive: Shadowgrace
Shadowgrace alerts him when he is spotted by enemies and grants bonus movement speed when he is out of sight or landing auto-attacks.
This serves as the first hint that he is meant to be in the shadows waiting for the right moment to strike!
First Ability: Flash Dagger
Flash Dagger teleports him to the first enemy hit and deals some damage to it.
This ability’s cooldown is reset when he takes down an enemy.
Second Ability: Dodge Roll
Dodge Roll is his dash ability and has two different uses:
- You can use it once while airborne to travel a big distance with an 11-second cooldown.
- You can use it again to dash a smaller distance with a 6-second cooldown.
His core gameplay is fully dependent on these dashes.
Before we go into more details, let’s have a quick look at his regular left mouse button attack.
The only thing you need to know is that you want to hold this attack to start charging it up and release it when fully charged to deal maximum damage.
After the first charged hit, you can keep holding it or tap it two more times for a follow-up attack of two additional hits.
However, his core gameplay involves only his first charged attack combined with his dashes. What you aim to achieve is to simply charge your first attack, leap into the air, and dash toward your opponent! After landing this simple combo, his third ability comes into play.
Third Ability: Flip Slash
Flip Slash slashes into the air, damaging and slowing any enemy hit. Recasting it slams the ground, grounding all enemies hit and dealing massive damage to them.
Between these two casts, you have enough time to add two actions. For example:
- Flip, dash, attack, and finally use Death Blow.
- Flip, two regular attacks, then Death Blow.
- Flip, glide, attack, and Death Blow.
- Flip, double dash, and Death Blow.
It is important to know that enemies take additional damage based on their missing health! If you land the final blow with this ability, its cooldown will also be fully reset. Beware, this ability requires a final blow to reset its cooldown, while his first ability, Flash Dagger, resets when you knock the enemy down by any means.
Ultimate: Feylight Clone
This ability sends out a clone of yourself that copies all your attacks and abilities. You can move this clone by tapping R and swap places with it by holding R.
Ultimate Tips
Many players believe that since his clone deals damage, you must use it in battle for more DPS. Thus, they think Jin is hard to play because you need to coordinate attacks with the clone.
While this logic is sound, using the ultimate in a simpler way is what makes Jin a very strong assassin.
In a one-on-one situation, you can spawn your clone, tap R to send it toward your opponent, and duel. It will deal extra damage and tank some hits.
However, in most cases, you’ll want to use your ultimate for repositioning.
Combo Sequence
The combo sequence you will use 90% of the time:
- Throw your clone behind you somewhere safe while flanking your opponents.
- Start charging your left mouse button attack.
- With perfect timing, jump into the air, dash, and strike your target.
- Land your charged attack, cast Flip Slash, and add two more regular attacks before finally casting Death Blow.
If your target runs away, use your first ability, Flash Dagger, to chase. Its long range ensures no escape.
