Greetings, adventurers! The Void Corruption Frenzy event has just unlocked, and it’s time to dive into how it all works — from finding corrupted monsters to powering up your Emblem.
Accessing the Event
To begin, press O to open the Season Hub menu. Inside, you’ll find your Emblem, which serves as the key to your progress during this event.
Your Emblem comes with a set of perks that enhance your character’s attributes when battling Void enemies — but what exactly are those?
What Are Void Enemies?
Across the world, you’ll now encounter monsters corrupted by the Void. You can easily recognize them by the glowing purple orb hovering above their heads.
These enemies are tougher than usual and drop unique materials, such as Void Residue, which are crucial for upgrading your Emblem.
Farming and Upgrading
Players are already forming custom parties to hunt these corrupted creatures. Once you’ve gathered enough Void Residue and other drops, head back to your Emblem menu to spend them on upgrades.
Enhancing your Emblem strengthens your combat effectiveness against corrupted enemies, giving you an edge in the battles to come.
Upcoming Content: Master Dungeons
The real challenge begins next week, with the launch of Master Dungeons.
These dungeons will introduce Master difficulty Chaos Realms, featuring multiple tiers of difficulty and increasingly powerful rewards. They’ll serve as the game’s primary endgame content, at least for now.
There’s a good chance that Void enemies will appear inside these dungeons — similar to how Bane enemies showed up in Hard difficulty. If not, we may see a separate queue specifically for Void-Corrupted Master Dungeons.
Preparing for the Frenzy
Until then, your goal is simple:
Hunt Void-corrupted monsters in the open world.
Collect Void Residue and other materials.
Upgrade your Emblem in the Season Hub.
Stock up from the Seasonal Shop, where you can currently purchase Void Residue directly.
By doing this, you’ll be fully prepared for the event’s next phase when the Master Dungeons go live.
